TechTrans International is a provider of language services and travel logistics, seeking an experienced remote Technical Writer for a contingent opportunity within the United States. In this journeyman-level role, the Technical Writer will perform documentation support functions, including the development and maintenance of program documentation and reports, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.ResponsibilitiesPerform technical writing, editing, and maintenance of program documentation, reports, and official deliverablesEnsure all written materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with contract requirements to support seamless communication with Government stakeholdersCoordinate with logistics, sustainment, and contingency operations personnel to gather, organize, and refine complex operational data into standardized formatsSupport the preparation of Program Management Plans, status reports, transition documentation, and other required contract deliverablesEstablish and maintain document templates, style guides, and formatting standards to ensure consistency across all program tasksSkillsMust possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance3 to 10 years of professional experience supporting technical writing, editing, records management, document control, reporting, configuration documentation, and knowledge management activitiesBachelor's (BA/BS) or Master's (MA/MS) degreeHigh School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experienceAssociate's Degree: 6 years of relevant experienceBA/BS Degree: 4–6 years of relevant experienceMA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experienceDoctorate Degree: 0 years of experienceJourneyman personnel are expected to perform all functional duties independentlyMicrosoft Office Specialist (MOS), records management certification, administrative professional, travel coordination, or equivalent business operations credentialsCompany OverviewTechTrans International is a translation company specializing in global project management and language training services.
