The company is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Documentation team by creating engaging content that enhances customer self-sufficiency, including writing and editing operational documentation and producing customer-facing help materials.ResponsibilitiesWriting, editing, and maintaining operational and partner-facing documentation, including SOPs, technical guides, workflows, and knowledge base articlesReviewing and editing marketing copy, including long-form blogs and product-related contentProducing documentation for new product releases, service updates, and operational changes within our eCommerce brandsAttending product, marketing, and cross-functional meetings to understand upcoming initiatives and proactively plan documentation needsPartnering closely with Engineering and Support teams to identify documentation gaps and keep content currentOrganizing and maintaining documentation in tools such as Confluence, Docs360, and Elevio, with a focus on version control and usabilityHelping evolve documentation standards, templates, and style guides to improve consistency and efficiencySkills3+ years of professional writing end-user/internal documentation (help, FAQs, related documentation) in a fast-paced tech environmentBachelor's degree in writing, communications, English, or a related fieldProficient in Sharepoint, JIRA/Confluence, and component-based authoring tools such as ContentfulExperience with telecom, VoIP, or related software and technology is a plusExperience using documentation or knowledge base tools such as Confluence, Docs360, LMS or similar platformsExceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detailExpertise in Microsoft Word and document formattingExperience translating technical or operational concepts into clear, audience-appropriate contentComfort working with cross-functional teams and proactively seeking informationStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlinesA collaborative mindset and the confidence to insert yourself into conversations when clarification is neededBenefitsPaid time off based on employee grade (A-F), defined by policy: Vacation: 12-25 days, depending on grade, Company paid holidays, Personal Days, Sick LeaveMedical, dental, and vision coverage (or provincial healthcare coordination in Canada)Retirement savings plans (e.g., 401(k) in the U.S., RRSP in Canada)Life and disability insuranceEmployee assistance programsOther benefits as provided by local policy and eligibilityCompany OverviewCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
