[Remote] Technical Project Manager (Marketo/Workfront)

MERGE is a marketing and technology agency focused on health and wellness, seeking a Technical Project Manager to bridge the gap between development teams and clients. The role involves managing multiple technical programs, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and overseeing resource allocation and risk management.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects within MERGE's Technical Services Group (TSG) projects, ensuring adherence to scope, delivery dates, team resourcing, and tasking across the project lifecycleCommunicate technical guidelines to the internal team and clients for effective execution of digital programsUpdate internal client teams on project progress and manage communications, reviews, and feedbackCoordinate team resources and task assignments based on project deliverables and planPresent project parameters and checkpoints to set client expectations and ensure timely delivery of quality deliverablesProvide detailed progress reports and forecasts to internal teams and Account ManagementAnalyze project hours to forecast burn and identify potential risks to timeline and budget; recommend mitigation strategiesAssist with contingency planning, problem resolution, and maintain schedules, budgets, and quality deliverablesTrack changes in scope, actual hours, and make appropriate adjustments to deliver projects on time and within budgetKeep leadership informed of project progress and raise concerns promptlyCollaborate with quality assurance team for testing of TSG projects and programsFacilitate collaboration, manage conflict, and effectively communicate project information across departmentsShow ownership of the agency process and enforce its use with the teamDetermine creative ways to allocate teams and distribute responsibilitiesShare lessons learned and best practices across departmentsIdentify areas for internal improvement and develop implementation plansSkills3-5 years of experience in managing small to medium-sized marketing operations and work management projectsHands-on experience with Adobe Marketo and Workfront, including the ability to manage projects in the systems and understand the technology being managedExperience with Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence is requiredExperience leading external client-facing technical projects from scope to deliveryPrior experience working in marketing/advertising agency operations environment is requiredKnowledge of the Marketo project life cycle (e.g., migration, integration) and be able to identify scope changesStrong project management skills, including monitoring and reporting on project status, budgets, schedules, and resource managementUnderstanding of information architecture and user experience best practicesExcellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologiesMCA (Marketo Certified Associate)AI experience and curiosityExperience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife Insurance401KLifestyle Spending AccountEmployer Paid Life & Disability InsuranceFlexible Time off & HolidaysCompany OverviewMerge promotes health, wealth and happiness in the world by merging storytelling with technology.
