[Remote] Technical Project Manager

The role involves serving as the primary contact for US-based clients while overseeing an offshore team of Developers and Technical Business Analysts, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment on project progress.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary face of the team for our US-based client. Manage client expectations, facilitate meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure their requirements are clearly understood by the offshore teamActively monitor what the offshore Devs and Tech BAs are working on. Maintain full visibility into their task lists, sprint capacities, and daily bandwidth to prevent burnout or underutilizationPartner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to proactively address, escalate, and resolve any project roadblocks, technical issues, or scope changesDrive project momentum. Track action items, follow up on deliverables, remove blockers, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising qualityAct as the liaison between the offshore team and the client's senior leadership. Communicate regularly regarding team performance, workload distribution, project health, and budget utilizationEnsure the team is following agile best practices (or the client’s preferred methodology) using project management tools like JiraSkills3-5 years of proven technical project management experience specifically in the data engineering space — things like data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehousing, and/or BI tool implementationsStrong knowledge of SQL and TableauAct as the primary face of the team for our US-based client.
