[Remote] Technical Program Manager - P&C Insurance

The Technical Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to execute a large-scale enterprise data platform project, ensuring alignment between technical architecture and business goals while managing the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Delivery: Lead the technical execution of the enterprise data platform using Agile (Scrum) methodologies, managing the project lifecycle from inception to completionTechnical Oversight: Supervise the implementation of complex data pipelines, moving data from source systems through Abstract, Validation, and Data Store layersStrategy & Alignment: Ensure technical execution remains strictly aligned with the broader data strategy and client business objectivesStakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of communication for senior leadership; participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive status updatesGovernance & Quality: Enforce data architecture standards, security policies, and governance. Drive best practices for data lineage, observability, and qualityProgram Health: Manage RAG status reporting, risks, and issues. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including delivery velocity and quality metricsFinancial Management: Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization strategiesSkills15 years of experienceExpert Snowflake and SQL proficiencyDeep P&C Insurance domain knowledge and terminology (e.g., Workers Comp, GL, Auto, Property)A background in data-side production support and ETL/ELT ingestion frameworksThe ability to manage high-pressure environments involving daily loads and maintenance of live data views12–15+ years of experience in IT delivery and program management, with a mandatory background in P&C Insurance (Policy and Claims lifecycle) and ReinsuranceProven success delivering Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, Data Lakes, and Data WarehousesStrong understanding of ETL/ELT ingestion frameworks and data modelingExceptional leadership, risk management, and the ability to manage interdependencies across multiple technical workstreamsBachelor's or Master's in Information technology, Computer Science or related fieldCloud certifications (specifically Azure) and data-related certifications (specifically Snowflake) are highly preferredExposure to GenAI use cases within the insurance industryCompany OverviewAhura Workforce Solutions believes in conducting business based on mutual growth, and innovation, in an ever-changing industry and economic environment.
