The Technical Program Manager will oversee software development project management, ensuring alignment and communication across various teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.ResponsibilitiesProvide software development project management + cross-functional coordination and communication to deliver outstanding products. This includes understanding product and business requirements driving the engineering programsManage and track engineering project delivery schedules and ensure they align with cross-functional upstream and downstream dependencies (Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, PM, etc) and correlate to end-to-end delivery commitmentsIdentify gaps and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, follow-through until resolutionTake responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environmentDrive effective and consistent processes in engineering organization, working with engineering leadershipSkills5+ years of experience as a TPM in a high-tech organizationStrong track record of facilitating enterprise level projectsExperience working directly with software engineering teams delivering software products to production2+ years of software development experienceExperience in building and evaluating system-level technical designProject management skills to ensure the proper solution is delivered to customersExperience understanding and working with technical teams to build scope, schedule, resourcing, and quality/verification stepsMechanisms for risk and critical path managementExperience communicating with external partners and stakeholdersAbility to take initiative and own projects from start to finishAbility to build positive relationships based on trust and value deliveredEffective communication skillsStrong process, project management and decision-making/facilitating skillsCritical thinker who can be strategic without losing attention to detailBenefitsWork from anywhere in the US!
