[Remote] Technical Program Manager

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead execution across complex, cross-functional technical initiatives powering Team USA and LA28’s fan data ecosystem. This role involves planning, coordination, and delivery of critical platform initiatives across various teams and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesLead planning and execution of complex technical initiatives across fan data platformsBuild and manage integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelinesCoordinate execution across engineering, architecture, product, vendors, and business stakeholdersEnsure technical initiatives are delivered on time and with high qualityDrive the vision of scaling platforms from MVP to enterprise-ready capabilitiesIdentify and actively manage cross-platform dependenciesSurface delivery risks early, document risks, and drives mitigation strategiesManage issue resolution across multiple technical teamsMaintain visibility into delivery health across all active workstreamsTranslate product requirements into executable delivery plans with technical teamsPartner with architecture and engineering leads to sequence technical implementation effectivelyEnsure technical readiness for launches, integrations, and platform releasesCoordinate testing, validation, and release planningFacilitate discussions on architecture trade-offs (e.g., batch vs real-time processing, identity resolution approaches) and effectively partner with development, architecture teams and business stakeholdersCollaboration with stakeholders to provide updates, adjust due dates, and define scopeEstablish program governance frameworks, rituals, and reporting mechanismsImprove execution processes across intake, planning, sprint alignment, and roadmap trackingCreate transparency for leadership through regular status reporting and escalation managementDrive intake, prioritization, and sequencing of work across platforms, partnering with product and engineering to align roadmap decisions with delivery capacity and dependenciesManage technical execution with external platform vendors and implementation partnersTrack deliverables, dependencies, and timelines across third partiesEnsure accountability across all implementation stakeholdersLead and develop direct reports while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementProvide mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities for team members across technical and operational disciplinesInfluence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority to drive alignment, execution, and decision-makingBuild strong working relationships across product, engineering, marketing, analytics, legal, and external partnersAct as a calm and effective leader through complex, fast-moving, and high-visibility initiativesChampion operational discipline, transparency, and proactive communication across all active programsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree with a preferred emphasis in Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications or Economics or equivalent work experience7+ years of technical program management experienceExperience managing enterprise-scale platform implementationsStrong understanding of: Data platforms, APIs and integrations, Customer data ecosystems, Technical delivery lifecyclesExceptional organizational and execution management skillsExperience managing cross-functional technical dependenciesExceptional customer service skills, including active listening, effective questioning, and problem-solvingStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teamsProven ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in sensitive mattersOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProactive and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and operationallyStrong leadership skillsAppreciation for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement and the power of sportPreferred experience with martech / customer data ecosystemsFamiliarity with: Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Snowflake, Identity resolution systems, Data pipeline orchestration, Privacy and consent frameworks, End-to-end delivery across the full data lifecycle, Experience working with external system integrators and vendorsBenefitsThis position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target.This position will be eligible for USOPC benefits.Company OverviewUnited States Olympic & Paralympic Committee is a nonprofit organizations.
