[Remote] Technical Product Manager

Radiology Partners is a national teleradiology practice that focuses on expanding access to lifesaving care through innovative imaging solutions. The Technical Product Manager will define, prioritize, and plan updates to the vRad radiology software platform, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to enhance the technology platform. This role requires a consultative approach to manage relationships and expectations while supporting a rapidly growing information technology intensive business.ResponsibilitiesGuide the evolution of vRadβs suite of software applicationsAct as product owner on multiple agile software development teamsMaintain and prioritize the product backlogCultivate and communicate product visionRepresent customers and stakeholdersCommunicate status externallyWorks with team to eliminate barriersProvide recommendations regarding technology investments to the IT Executive Steering CommitteeMeet with customers to identify customer needsReview, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and translate to software systems specificationsMaintain current knowledge of similar software productsWork collaboratively with team members to support a rapidly growing information technology intensive businessAssist in estimating, planning, and scheduling software development tasksStrong technical and problem solving skillsEffectively communicate with all levels of the company as well as external customersAbility to participate in on-call rotation as needed to support radiologists and other systems support issuesStrong understanding of healthcare practice administration, including licensing and credentialing processesSkillsBachelor's Degree in a related field or 5+ years of software development experienceDirect experience working in or with a radiology department β e.g., as a radiologic technologist (RT), imaging informatics specialist, PACS administrator, or in a clinical support role for radiology softwareSolid understanding of radiology workflows, imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound), and clinical terminologyFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards including DICOM, HL7, and FHIRDemonstrated experience writing specifications and documentation for the dissemination of work within a software development organizationDemonstrated success in working with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teamsStrong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to qualityAbility to travel up to 15%Results oriented, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritiesDemonstrated strong work ethic and initiative in accomplishing objectives of the positionCreative, positive and energetic; ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlinesExcellent customer service skills, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter and team player; ability to work well in matrix organizationCompany OverviewRadiology Partners is a healthcare service company providing radiology services.
