The Technical Data Analyst II - Data Governance is responsible for documenting and enriching data assets, collaborating with data producers, and ensuring compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesWork with data producers to produce high quality metadata for Data Platform assetsDetermine and document data classification types for tables/fieldsUse the Atlan data cataloging tool to enrich and organize metadataDocument lineages, classifications, and privacy controls according to company/governmental standardsCollaborate with multiple teams to uncover and document metadata informationDetermine and document ownership over data assets and flows and work with Data Stewards to present this information to leadership and other teams in a clear and accessible mannerReview incoming data assets to make sure they meet Data Platform standardsSkillsBachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Engineering healthcare, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field3+ years of Data Analysis2+ Years of Data Governance experience, including metadata managementStrong SQL skillsKnowledge/ Experience with data architectureHands-on experience with Data Catalog solutions; Atlan is a plusExperience with Snowflake architectureHands-on experience with cloud data platforms and processing; AWS is a plusExperience with reporting software such as Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma etcStrong knowledge of data governance principles and data management conceptsExperience with healthcare or supply chain dataFamiliarity with data regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, etcAbility to reduce complex designs and concepts to simple foundational componentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceAccident and life insurance401k matchingPaid-time offEducation reimbursementCompany OverviewGHX is a software-as-a-service company that’s reducing the cost of doing business in healthcare by automating supply chain processes and improving visibility into the products used in patient care.
