The Technical Consultant II role is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and execution of Alkami’s software products, focusing on implementing complex enterprise banking software solutions and building strong relationships with clients.ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients both in-person and virtually to define solution dependencies and transform business practices in accordance with software designIdentify technical challenges and provide recommendations for improvement, focusing on client satisfaction and efficiency for both Alkami’s FinTech multi-tenant model and in-house clientsConduct application demonstration and discovery sessions to refine business and technical software requirements after contract executionAnticipate and raise project, business, and technical issues to the appropriate resources and actively participate in their resolutionWork directly with third party vendors to resolve integration and design issues with various external systemsWork closely with Development, Configuration, and PM resources to resolve complex technical integrations related to ongoing projectsProvide technical support to dedicated Support resources to upgrade and troubleshoot systems and environments as neededShare guidance, knowledge, skills, and experiences with team members, provide technical leadership, and update internally-maintained knowledge repositoryProvide supplemental technical support when the primary responsible individuals are not availableAudit client environments and oversee the launch of Alkami products and solutionsCreate and manage documentation and toolsets for the scalability of the Technical Consulting organizationExhibits behavior in accordance with company core valuesOther duties as assignedSkills3+ years of technical background and experience required3+ years of Customer-facing, client interaction skills and experience3+ years of experience working with credit union cores such as Keystone Corelation, Fiserv DNA, or JackHenry SymitarAbility to travel up to 20%Financial services software development and design experience, specifically core and 3rd party integrationWorking knowledge of SQL server, and Microsoft C# and ASP.NET is extremely helpfulA general knowledge of Internet routing and related protocolsA general knowledge of Firewall operations as they relate to Internet connectivityPrevious experience in designing and/or implementing systems with a focus on scalability and high-availabilityExperience in commercial banking, treasury, payments, or cash managementBenefitsRemote-first environmentUnlimited paid time off401(k) with employer matchCompany OverviewAlkami Technology provides cloud-based digital banking solutions for credit unions and banks.
