[Remote] Technical Business Development Representative - Boston

They are seeking a Technical Sales BDM to drive territory sales through technical product discussions, identify cross-sell opportunities, and generate demand for AV products.ResponsibilitiesFunction as the Technical Sales BDM by working closely with the regional ProAV sales teammates to drive business in your region, including supporting local stores by coordinating engagement and training with customersTechnically support strategic brands with customers to ensure project success, while acting as the technology subject matter expert. Meet with ProAV integrators to discuss product solutions and advise on the right solution for specific projectsConduct proactive outreach and targeted selling efforts to promote AV products among existing customersAttend industry events to meet with customers to discuss product solutions and provide training for customersAchieve sales targets, present/report out on metrics, and identify new opportunities to hit targetsFacilitate system designs with the internal design team and professional services teamsEffective internal communication with management regarding job duties and responsibilitiesConsistently and accurately reporting metrics and tracking in sales management toolsQuickly responding to customer’s needs and capturing every sales opportunitySkills3 plus years experience in the technology of the Audio Visual industryProblem-solver with strong client/executive relationship management abilitiesWilling to travel 50% of the timeActive and clean driver's licenseAVIXA CTS and CTS-D certificationOngoing education in AV systems experienceStrong work ethic and goal driven team membersBenefitsLife and health insuranceLife assistance programTuition ReimbursementRetirement plan (Immediate eligibility for 401K)Vacation & holidays.
