[Remote] Technical Account Manager

EG4 Electronics is seeking a Technical Account Manager who will provide technical training and support to Distribution and Installation Customers. The role involves engaging customers to deliver training consistently and supporting the sales department to drive revenue.ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales department to drive revenue and sales to Entry, Midpoint and Turbo ObjectivesWork closely with the Regional Sales Rep to manage training visits, training schedule and all aspects of workflow related to customer success and report progress to manager on no less than a weekly basisDeliver EG4 Training curriculum for installation, design, permitting, technical product training, monitoring and commissioningGuide installers through the EG4 Installer Certification ProcessIdentify installers that require training, and apply current content to bring them up to dateProvide virtual and/or onsite technical and installation training when scheduledWork closely with Technical support to ensure Customer success, included escalated field service requestsIdentify installer mistakes and patterns to apply direct and targeted training to lower demand on technical supportSupport EG4 regional road show events with the Regional Sales Rep, including driving the EG4 bus or vanCollect 2-way feedback for needs to service customer in-field, to improve product and ease of useProvide excellent customer service through your technical acumen and train customer to technical proficiency with a goal of reducing customer dependence on technical supportReport technical findings and act as voice of customer from a technical perspective to other leadership across the company as neededSupport the Canadian market with international travelTravel 60% in field 40% in office for virtual trainingsSkillsFoster valuable relationships with high-profile clients in a growing business environmentThe ability to critically analyze, research, and verify information through online resources, manuals, or with the R&D departmentThe capability to demonstrate and exercise composure in high-pressure scenarios involving dissatisfied customers, showcasing self-control and professionalismAbility to work flexible hours / weekends and travel to install sitesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and deliver timely solutions to customersExcellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to customers clearly and conciselyComfortable talking to customers, explaining technical concepts, hosting seminars and providing clear instructions3+ years of familiarity with full solar installations, wiring, and system configuration is preferred.
