[Remote] Tech & AI Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sama is a non-profit initiative dedicated to bridging the digital divide by repurposing e-waste to empower underserved women and youth through access to technology. They are looking for a tech-savvy intern to develop and maintain backend services and APIs while supporting their mission to scale operations and impact. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using FastAPI Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Python Work with SQL databases for data modeling, queries, and integration Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud environments Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React (good to have) Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications Skills Strong programming skills in Python Hands-on experience with FastAPI framework Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Experience with React or frontend integration Company Overview NavGurukul is a non-profit organization that provides training in software, technical skills, and e-learning.
