[Remote] Teams Administrator

They are seeking a Microsoft M365 Teams Administrator to implement, manage, and optimize the Microsoft Teams environment, ensuring efficient and secure use of the platform for their clients.ResponsibilitiesAct as incident and service request tier 2-3 escalation point for MS Teams related issues (includes telephony experience)Troubleshoot and/or maintain MS Call Queue, AutoAttendant, Hardphones, PSTN, phone inventory and assignments, policies, configurations, conference bridges. etcProvide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etcProvide technical support and troubleshooting for Teams issues. (1-3 day SLA)Participate in monthly technical meetings with management, development team, and operations to provide updates on assignments and help coordinate interdependent project tasksProvide input to documentation - communication plans, customer notices, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Respond to M365 FAQ requests and issues and support ticketing systemSkillsMinimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 TeamsStrong knowledge on Microsoft Teams architecture, components, and Skype for Business Online componentsProvide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etcProfessional experience working directly with clients and customers to provide technical support and guidanceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Additional knowledge on MS Teams video and voice interoperability is desiredBenefitsContract work generally doesn't provide the same level of benefits as working at a company as a permanent employee, but as a contract employees you are paid more hourly.Contractual employees are also responsible for obtaining their own insurance and retirement savings but we do offer some group discounts on purchases.Remote work has several benefits, including increased flexibility, improved work-life balance, reduced commuting time and costs, access to a larger pool of job opportunities, and lower overhead costs for businesses.Flexible schedules refer to the ability to adjust and adapt one's work hours to accommodate personal needs and preferences.
