Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Tax Preparer for a 100% remote position. The role involves maintaining customer confidentiality while providing tax-related assistance and utilizing video communication tools to interact with clients professionally.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary business information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner
ā¢ You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language
ā¢ This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you will use our state of the art video communication software to interact with customers in a responsible, reliable and safe manner, and you will document interactions to maintain accurate records
ā¢ Interact with customers and team members in a professional manner
Skills
ā¢ Active PTIN
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software
ā¢ Excellent customer service skills
ā¢ Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
ā¢ Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Security criteria
ā¢ Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days
