Remote Tax Manager
Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000
Location: 100% Remote
Requirements: Active CPA + 5 years experience minimum
Key Responsibilities
• Tax Compliance: Oversee federal and state tax filings for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and HNWIs.
• Technical Review: Perform high-level review of complex returns and workpapers.
• Client Strategy: Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to minimize liabilities.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and manage workflow to meet all filing deadlines.
• Research: Stay current on TCJA updates and evolving state/federal tax laws.
Qualifications
• License: Active CPA license is required.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency in professional tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax) and Excel.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-technical clients.
• Autonomy: Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fully remote environment.
