[Remote] Tax Analyst

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Analyst to join their growing Global Tax Team, where the role involves supporting global income tax compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Company’s global income tax compliance including:The preparation of federal, state, and international tax returnsCalculate and file quarterly income tax estimates, and year-end extensions, ensuring payments are made by due datesCollaborate closely with cross functional teams including finance, accounting, and treasury to gather data needed to support income tax calculationsProvide tax technical support to properly calculate the impact of U.S. international tax concepts, including GILTI, FDII, 163(j) and BEATPrepare Form 1118, income sourcing and foreign tax credit calculationsPrepare Forms 5471, 5472 and relevant statements and disclosuresAssist in coordination with local teams regarding statutory financials and local income tax returns of foreign subsidiaries worldwideSupport ongoing tax planning projects, including tax research, and modeling/forecasting tax impactsAssist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection to notices and examinationsKeep abreast of tax law changes and perform technical research and analysis and apply tax laws to support tax positions related to the Company’s business transactionsAssist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including analyzing tax reserves, deferred tax assets and liabilities, global income taxes payable and required footnotes and disclosuresLearn how Genesys tax is leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and analyze dataMaintain and monitor the global tax filing calendar to ensure timely reporting and paymentsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) (or actively pursuing)1 - 3 years of tax-related work experience in public accounting firm and/or large multinational corporationHigh attention to details and accuracyStrong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently in a challenging environment with high level of integrity, manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and meet tight filing deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships & collaborate with other members of the tax teamMaster's Degree in TaxationBig four experience is a plusExperience in the preparation of international tax aspects of post-TCJA U.S. federal tax compliance including Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, calculation of CFC's earnings and profits, Subpart F inclusions, and foreign tax creditsExperience in accounting for income taxes under ASC 740Experience with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax ProvisionExperience with Workday ERP System is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.Telehealth coverageFlexible work schedules and work from home opportunitiesDevelopment and career growth opportunitiesOpen Time Off in addition to 10 paid holidays401(k) matching programAdoption AssistanceFertility treatmentsCompany OverviewGenesys enables organizations to orchestrate the best AI-powered experiences to drive customer loyalty and growth.
