Key Responsibilities • Technical Tax Delivery: Prepare and/or review returns for insurance company clients and complex C-Corps (Forms 1120-PC, 1120 L). • Tax Accounting: Assist with specialized accounting for income taxes, including ASC 740 and SSAP 101. • Client Engagement: Deliver high-quality tax services and research in line with your experience level, ensuring accuracy across multi-state filings. • Project Management: Utilize state-of-the-art tech (ProSystems FX, GoSystems, OneSource) to manage workflows and meet regulatory deadlines. Qualifications/Requirements • Firm Experience: Recent CPA firm experience is a must. • Technical Knowledge: Prior experience with insurance clients OR strong C-Corp knowledge and a desire to specialize. • Education & Licensing: BA in Accounting required; CPA or MA in Taxation is preferred. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to collaborate across a national remote team. • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in tax software and research tools.
