[Remote] Tanks Project Manager

Bechtel Corporation is a global leader in engineering and construction, and they are seeking a Tanks Project Manager to oversee LNG tank and other Field Erected Tanks projects. The role involves managing project execution, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules, and leading a high-performance project team.ResponsibilitiesManage, coordinate and administer the project through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start up, initial operations and contract close outOversee the development of budgets and schedules, manage performance, report progress and initiate action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specificationsMonitor and control all contractual commitments to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the contract, that a trend program is in place, and that change orders and claims are processed in a timely mannerResolve problems and coordinate the final turnover of project tanks scope to the customerProvide leadership for the development and maintenance of a high performance project teamResponsible for project execution, ensure that the project is delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety, and to the customer and Bechtel performance expectationsLead/conduct project and customer meetings to promote and facilitate communication, review progress/performance, discuss issues and facilitate problem resolutionSkillsBachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experiencePrevious project management experience on lump sum self-perform direct hire LNG tank projects is requiredKnowledge of industry, technology and EPC work processes, including knowledge of customs, culture and business practicesKnowledge and experience in project execution plan development and implementationKnowledge and experience in contracts/subcontracts formulation, risk analysis and negotiationsAbility to effectively organize and staff a project team within a matrix organizationPrior construction supervision and management experience on EPC projects similar to the projects described aboveStrong 'Zero Accident' ES&H experience; a demonstrated ability to implement and hold field contract supervision and contractors accountable for the successful implementation of the projectDemonstrated leadership and supervisory skillsAdvanced level of knowledge of ES&H, procurement and constructionBenefitsRobust benefits to ensure our people thriveAdvancing careersDelivering programs to enhance our cultureProviding time to rechargeCompany OverviewBechtel is a construction company that offers engineering, construction, and project management solutions to its customers.
