They are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support their global expansion by acquiring new business and forming strategic partnerships in key regions.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities with merchants, expanding our market presence and revenueBuild and execute strategic plans to penetrate new verticals, regions, and customer segmentsProactively generate leads, conduct market research, and establish relationships with key stakeholdersDrive the adoption of our payment solutions, positioning the company as a preferred partnerCollaborate closely with GTM, product, marketing, merchant success, risk, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client onboardingNegotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements that align with business goals and drive long-term valueConsistently track pipeline progression and performance metrics within Salesforce.comProvide market insights and feedback to leadership, helping shape business strategies, optimize the sales cycle, and refine go-to-market approachesStay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging opportunities in the payment ecosystemRepresent the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to building strategic partnershipsSkillsProven experience in business development / strategic sales with global enterprise accounts. Experience Payments Industry requiredA proven track record of meeting and exceeding business goals is highly valuedDeep knowledge of the merchant payment ecosystem (payment processing solutions, e-commerce platforms), market trends, and customer pain pointsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals and present to senior stakeholders effectivelyEnglish language is a must.
