They are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join their Ultra Low Latency Engineering team, where the role involves designing, optimizing, and scaling mission-critical infrastructure for global trading systems. Responsibilities • Architect and evolve the firm’s high-performance compute and storage platforms • Optimise Linux environments for latency-sensitive workloads • Work with trading, quant, and platform teams to deliver tailored, scalable solutions • Troubleshoot complex performance issues at every layer of the stack • Contribute to long-term platform strategy, documentation, and delivery of new infrastructure projects Skills • 7+ years working with Linux in enterprise or performance-critical environments • Deep understanding of networking protocols and tuning for low-latency systems • Familiarity with kernel bypass and Solarflare • Solid grasp of server hardware and CPU architectures • Strong scripting and automation abilities using Python • Experience with FPGA systems Benefits • Exceptional benefits Company Overview • Hunter Bond is a global recruitment firm specializing in the financial and technology areas, providing clients with effective solutions.
