[Remote] Systems Analyst - Mainframe & Benefits IT Support– USA - Remote - 3 Months contract - 10+ Years of Experience

The role focuses on supporting IT operations for Ancillary lines of business, ensuring the successful execution of production jobs and enhancing mainframe logic to prevent job failures. Responsibilities • Will this position be required to work onsite for any reason at any time? No • The Systems Analyst II role will support the Ancillary IT lines of business, including dental, vision, and Consumer-Directed Health (CDH) products, with potential opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with pharmacy and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) IT teams. • The primary focus of this role will be to ensure the successful execution of production jobs, resolve defects, and develop or enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures. • This will include working on claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, and corrections. • Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrollment. • Proficiency in SQL and Java would be a valuable asset, enabling the resource to contribute to other core processes, such as reporting and benefit functions, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our IT operations. • Employee must have strong mainframe (COBOL) skills • Ability to test packages on the mainframe, promote packages using change management. • SQL – database query, troubleshooting, and reporting. • Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes • Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business friendly language. • JAVA/Java batch– to support more dental benefit related work to assist Joe and Ankur. • Server app: Java (REST/Spring Boot/Hibernate) • Web app: Angular (nodejs / typescript) Skills • Strong mainframe (COBOL) skills • Ability to test packages on the mainframe, promote packages using change management • SQL – database query, troubleshooting, and reporting • Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes • Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business friendly language • Bachelor's degree in computer science or 10+ years experience • JAVA/Java batch– to support more dental benefit related work to assist Joe and Ankur • Server app: Java (REST/Spring Boot/Hibernate) • Web app: Angular (nodejs / typescript) Benefits • Medical, dental, vision • 401k • Term life • Voluntary life and disability insurance • Optional Pre-paid legal plan • Optional Identity theft plan • Optional Medical and dependent FSA • Work-visa sponsorship • Opportunity for advancement • Long-term assignment with opportunity for hire by client Company Overview • Kyyba, Inc.
