[Remote] Systems Administrator

BetterHealth: A Planned Parenthood Partnership is seeking a Systems Administrator responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of their IT systems and applications. This role will support and optimize enterprise collaboration, endpoint management, and infrastructure platforms.ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor Linux and Windows servers, including configuration, testing, patching, and maintenanceManage and monitor BetterHealth’s systems and applications. Perform upgrades, configuration changes, deployment, and patching as neededConduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation effortsServe as a subject matter expert of BetterHealth’s infrastructure and server operationsDevelop and maintain documentation related to server build and application managementDevelop and maintain PowerShell and batch automation scriptsAdminister Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira) and related plugins, including patching, optimization, configuration changes, automation configuration, provisioning, and issue resolutionProvide technical assistance with the installation and configuration of systems and applicationsResearch, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure and application improvementsMonitor and, where applicable, triage or resolve technology tickets and project requestsProvide on-call support coverage as neededSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required3+ years of Linux and Windows server management experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent writing and oral communications skillsDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to work accurately and with composure under deadline pressureAbility to thrive in a fast paced, remote work environmentAbility to work independently, including handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyAbility to participate in an on call rotation and respond to urgent situations during non-standard hoursExperience with AWSExperience with Confluence and JiraExperience working in the nonprofit sectorCompany OverviewBetterHealth is a mission-driven managed services organization proudly supporting Planned Parenthood affiliates and clinics across the United States.
