As a System Administrator focused on Endpoint and Server Management, you will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure by managing patching, scripting, and overall desktop management strategies.ResponsibilitiesManage endpoint and server patch management for MacOS and Windows computers, as well as Windows and Linux serversUtilize PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasksAdminister Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365, including user management and configurationBuild virtual machines, manage Azure resources, and configure policies and profilesHands on design and implementation of user and device policy using Microsoft EntraPatch and deploy desktop applications using Microsoft IntuneDeploy policies and restrictions to ensure security and complianceCollaborate with IT management to define overall desktop management strategy and support requirementsIntegrate best practices and emerging technologies such as VDI, thin client technology, and enterprise mobility managementOversee asset lifecycle management, including inventory management, asset refresh, reporting, and auditServe as an escalation point for 3rd party helpdesk and internal staff regarding desktop and service desk issuesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience in endpoint and server patch managementExtensive expertise in PowerShell scriptingHands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365 administrationProficiency in building virtual machines, managing Azure resources, and configuring policiesExperience with Microsoft Intune for desktop application deploymentStrong understanding of desktop management strategies and best practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work independentlyAsset and configuration managementContinual service improvementIncident & problem managementOwnership and initiativeService focus, reporting, and Service Management Framework knowledgeTesting and user focusChange ManagementStrong Documentation and Communication Skills (Verbal/Written) in EnglishStrong organizational skills with proven ability to balance and prioritize tasksExcellent customer-facing skills including consensus buildingMust be able to interact well with others and possess a clear understanding of customer service and supportCompany OverviewPeak Support provides customer service, sales operations, and business process outsourcing to high-growth companies.
