[Remote] Support Social Media Marketing for Center for the Deaf - Jamaica

Peace Corps is seeking a Virtual Service Pilot Participant (VSPP) to support the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf (CCCD) in Jamaica. The role involves evaluating CCCD's social media presence, co-developing a marketing plan, creating audio-visual content, and mentoring staff in social media management.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate CCCD’s current social media presence and co-develop a social media marketing planCo-create a series of audio-visual content (short videos and stories) for multiple social media platforms over the six months of engagement with at least two postings weeklyCo-create simple animation and slides, through established, new, and emerging programs to highlight activities at CCCD over the six months of engagement (post every 1–2 weeks)Mentor and train CCCD staff members in social media content creation and managementSkillsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be a U.S. citizenBachelor's degree in any field1 year developing digital communications, brand campaigns, or social media contentFlexible, strong cross-cultural agility, high tolerance for ambiguity, able to work independently, resourceful, creative, and genuinely motivated and capable to serve virtuallyCompany OverviewPeace Corps is a volunteer program run by the United States government focused on social and economic development.
