[Remote] Summer Internship: Biostatistics Summer Intern (Remote)

The intern will participate in statistics methodology research to support drug development under the guidance of biostatisticians. Responsibilities • Literature review • Development of innovative statistical methods if necessary • Creating SAS macro/ R packages/R shiny for statistical analyses if applicable • Computer simulations • Strong or prior experience in survival data modelling and simulation Skills • Currently enrolled students (cannot graduate prior to September 2026) and have complete at least two semesters of graduate work towards a M.S. or PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics by May 2026 • Strong or prior experience in survival data modelling and simulation • Effective oral and written communication skills • Computer Skills: R and (or) SAS • Ph.D. candidate preferred • Bayesian statistics knowledge or course work preferred • Knowledge of causal inference, meta-analysis, and survival models preferred • R package and/or R shiny development experience preferred • Experience with JAGS, Stan, or BUGS preferred Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • FSA/HSA • Life Insurance • Paid Time Off • Wellness Company Overview • BeiGene is a global oncology company.
