The Strategic Sales Representative will focus on driving significant growth by targeting and securing high-value, strategic accounts, requiring a blend of product knowledge, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and research new customer and new project opportunities, identify decision makers within prospectsOrganize and participate in discovery meetings with clients in order to identify revenue opportunities, make recommendations, and determine next stepsDevelops a business plan for each accountPrepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective and current customersDevelop and maintain a thorough knowledge of client business needs and offer the appropriate business solutions that help each achieve their strategic business goalsRecommend to clients additional solutions and services the company provides, highlighting the advantages of the product or service, utilizing internal tools and resources as neededDevelop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representativePartners with internal resources to execute targeted deliverables within a timely mannerProvide extraordinary customer service throughout the sales processForecast accurately and maintain the system of record in Salesforce.comPerforms other related duties and participates in special projects as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in a discipline related to function of work1 or more years of relevant work experience, or completion of a Sales Associate Development Program or similarAn exceptional level of business acumen, motivation, competitiveness, customer-driven focus, time management, and multitaskingAble to compile, analyze, and interpret results of data gatheringMust be good at identifying general trends and patterns that may need to be addressed by managementClear knowledge of the selling cycle with the ability to make cold calls on a daily basisStrong interpersonal skills; requires good communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignmentsDesire to be a continuous learner of RRD's products & servicesAble to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutionsConsistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidanceAble to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools to complete work assignmentsStrategic or enterprise sales experience within the telecommunications, SaaS, or business technology sector preferredSalesforce.com knowledge and usage preferredBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time offDisability insurance401(k) with company matchLife insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coveragesParental leaveAdoption assistanceTuition assistanceEmployer/partner discountsCompany OverviewRRD provides a complete portfolio of marketing, packaging, print and business services to the world’s most respected brands, including 92% of the Fortune 100.
