[Remote] Strategic Finance Manager

The role involves building financial models, conducting business reviews, and providing data-driven recommendations to facilitate growth and decision-making.ResponsibilitiesLead deep dives on revenue and unit economics to identify growth opportunities, risks, and experiments that improve accuracy and business outcomesTrack the KPIs that matter, diagnose what’s driving them, and deliver clear recommendations to leadersOwn the monthly business reviews and QBR materials for the BUs you support, including the recommendations that turn each result into a decisionWrite memos, build dashboards, and model scenarios that inform board and executive decisionsBuild the financial analysis and forecasting models behind partnership, acquisition, and growth decisionsPartner with stakeholders in Marketing and Sales functions on performance analysisSkills8+ years of experience in strategic finance/FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting supporting high-growth technologyExtensive experience with FP&A at both corporate and business unit levels, including annual planning, performance analysis, and use of data to drive decisionsExperience in the Software/SaaS and/or B2C preferred, along with an understanding of how to forecast and monitor different types of revenue and costsAbility to recommend, influence, develop, and implement programs that improve competitive positioning and profitabilityStrong business and operational orientation, and proven track record of close partnership with senior leadersSelf-starter able to take complete ownership of your areas of responsibilityBenefitsWe are a fully remote companyOpen vacation policyCompany OverviewAutomattic is a global tech company that offers WordPress, WooCommerce, and other web solutions.
