[Remote] Strategic Finance Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oklo is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean energy and advance nuclear fuel recycling. They are seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to support corporate financial planning, capital allocation, and investment decisions while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain detailed project-level financial models for capital projects across Oklo's Power, Fuel, and Isotopes business unitsPrepare presentation materials for executive leadership and the board of directors to inform capital allocation and investment decisionsSupport the corporate long-range financial model by ensuring project-level inputs are current and accurately reflected at the enterprise levelAnalyze unit economics and key cost drivers across Oklo’s Power, Fuel, and Isotopes product linesSupport capital raising activities (equity, debt, and project finance) by preparing financial projections, diligence materials, and investor presentationsCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to gather and integrate data inputs into financial modelsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field2-5 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, strategic finance, or a related analytical roleIndustry exposure to energy, power, renewables, nuclear, or related capital-intensive infrastructure preferredAdvanced financial modeling and Excel skills; ability to build and maintain complex, multi-scenario project financial modelsWorking knowledge of project finance concepts including debt sizing, DSCR, IRR, tax equity, and sponsor returnsStrong understanding of capital structure, cash flow modeling, and investment economicsExcellent communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detailSelf-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent workstreamsIndustry exposure to energy, power, renewables, nuclear, or related capital-intensive infrastructure preferredPrior experience at a high-growth startup is a plusBenefitsFlexible time offEquityCompetitive pay401kHealth insuranceFSAFlexible work hoursCompany OverviewOklo's mission is to provide clean, reliable, affordable energy through the deployment of next-generation fast fission technology and recycling nuclear waste.
