They are seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager - Geomembrane to expand their geomembrane market by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencing specifications to secure business.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a portfolio of customers and partners within these key industry segments, including owners, engineering firms, consultants, contractors, fabricators and installers when neededDevelop and maintain relationships with key industry decision-makers to create a network that promotes Seaman Corporation productsWork collaboratively with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure scope of deliverables, timelines, and budgetary demandsDevelop and implement sales strategies for segments, working with fellow Strategic Business Development Managers and the Direct Sales teams to drive compliance and growth in sales and ensure brand awarenessIndependently pitch and close complex sales presentationsConduct negotiations with major companies and key decision makers at the senior executive level and C-SuiteIdentify opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to fully support customer goalsOversee sales performance to meet and exceed target sales goalsEnsure accurate pipeline management and forecastingSkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline10+ years of experience selling within the Geomembrane market, preferably with a focus on containment systems, geomembranes, or related industriesIndustry Knowledge: Experience working with Power Generation, Oil & Gas companies, Water treatment facilities, procurement processes, and navigating regulatory environmentsFamiliarity with geomembrane products and environmental containment solutionsProven capabilities in growing relationships at the senior executive level and C-Suite for global Fortune 500 companiesDemonstrated ability to develop opportunities and close new business or expansion salesSuccessful track record of achieving immediate credibility; presenting varying ideas to create value and challenge the status quo; and able to think quickly, listen well, and understand how to react and modify approach in front of clients and other key influencersExperience with geomembrane or related material specifications within Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Potable & Wastewater sectorsBenefitsCompany performance bonus in addition to base salaryFlexible work opportunities including flex schedules and remote work from home up to two days per week (if applicable to role)Professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, course training, and networkingA competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off (PTO), volunteer time off (VTO), and paid holidaysFun and engaging activities including department outings, holiday parties, and our annual company-wide dinnerCompany OverviewSeaman Corporation offers a collection of innovative high performance fabrics that set the standard for quality and durability.
