[Remote] Strategic Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tecomet, Inc is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to grow the business and manage all commercial activities for their customers. The role involves making sales calls, building relationships, and developing sales proposals while ensuring customer needs are met effectively.ResponsibilitiesMake sales calls and presentations to potential and existing customersBuild and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customersUnderstand the needs of customers and match Tecomet’s solutionsFollow-up on sales opportunitiesProspect for new customers and follow up on leads regularlyDevelop sales proposals to gain new businessGenerate quote requests from customers and follow-up internally at Tecomet and with customersWork closely with each Tecomet site to respond to customer needs successfully and expeditiouslyWork with customers to resolve technical issuesExpand legacy work with customers across all Tecomet sitesIdentify potential new opportunities to create value for our customersReview manufacturing processes with customers to identify areas of need/improvementUnderstand company performance, goals, and capacity to fill gaps where neededAttend and work at industry events and exhibitions to represent Tecomet and meet with customers andKeep management informed of developments in the marketplace and among customers and competitorsIdentify potential new products/capabilities that would enhance Tecomet’s position in the marketplaceInteract with division staff to generate new leads, discuss opportunities, and help close salesComplete duties in Salesforce.com weekly which includes but is not limited to: Customer meeting notes, Opportunities, Lead follow-up, Quote follow-up, Market intelligenceParticipate in strategic and tactical commercial team meetingsParticipate in training activities which include meetings, reading, team discussions, seminars and corporate trainingComplete travel arrangementsUtilize company resources efficiently and responsibly (money, time, tools, etc.)Complete expense reports monthlySkills5+ Years of experience in sales or account management within the orthopedic or medical device manufacturing industryExperience in managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targetsExperience in complex solution sellingBachelor in Business, Engineering, Marketing. or related fieldExperience establishing relationships with key clients and a history of nurturing and expanding those relationships over timeExperience navigating complex negotiations to achieve favorable terms and agreements for both partiesCompany OverviewTecomet develops proven, full-spectrum scalable manufacturing solutions for leading medical device technology, aerospace, and defense companies for whom exceptional quality is critical.
