The Strategic Account Manager plays a vital role in developing strategic relationships with clients, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring business retention and growth.ResponsibilitiesActing as the main contact for key clients and proactively seeking new sales opportunities and secure retentionResponsible for account planning, creating strategic sales plans, collaborating across Bluebeam and Nemetschek brands, and ensuring teamwork in sales effortsPursuing new business leads, building client relationships, and generating opportunities for Bluebeam and the other Nemetschek portfolio of products with both new and current customersDeveloping sales pipelines and moving deals through standard processes to successful completion ensuring achieving revenue goalsEducating customers about product options and core features through ongoing marketing campaigns and quarterly business reviewsLeading collaboration with internal teams such as Customer Success Management, Customer Operations, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Legal/Information Security to help customers purchase products and services smoothlyDriving revenue growth and profitability and achieve established revenue objectives by expanding and retaining client businessIdentify and develop sales opportunities for a long-term pipelinePresent performance and KPI reports to executivesBuild relationships with C-level leaders to align Bluebeam and Nemetschek’s solutions with their prioritiesCollaborate with key decision-makers in target organizationsFind strategic opportunities by understanding client needs and proposing value-driven solutionsLead sales presentations and both in-person and virtual meetingsExecute account plans to drive revenue, retention, and market growth in AEC/OSupport the negotiation of contracts to support company goals and mutual benefitAct as main point of client contact for updates and issue resolutionWork with partners and leadership on complex salesCoordinate across brands to deliver proofs of concept and expert adviceMaintain detailed account plans with competitive positioning and prioritiesManage the sales pipeline, tracking value and milestonesMonitor industry trends for new business prospectsEngage in professional networks to boost visibility and strengthen enterprise client tiesSkills8+ years in Software Sales with experience throughout the AEC/O industry with demonstrated experience and knowledge of market trends and competitive landscapeAbility to effectively present to all levels of a business including the C-SuiteDemonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communicationAdvanced problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changeExperience with Salesforce or other CRM platformsComprehensive knowledge of internal software applications that support territory management, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PowerBI, and othersCapability to effectively deliver presentations to all organizational levels, including executive leadershipCollaborative approach within team environments, engaging with resources across diverse cross-functional teams and regionsKnowledge of commonly used sales methodologies and processes is a requirement of successBenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package100% paid medical premiums for employees, 80% paid for dependentsFully vested 401K right from the day you startGenerous PTO, including sick/mental health & volunteer daysFree & unlimited access to BetterUp Care, a well-being platformWork-life balance fostered through a culture of diversity, inclusion, and appreciation of individual lifestyle needsOpportunity for continuous professional developmentFree & unlimited access to LinkedIn LearningUp to $5K annual education reimbursement (after 1 year tenure)Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission planMost non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus planBluebeam provides best-in-class benefits, with 100% employee-covered health and welfare benefits and paid time offCompany OverviewBluebeam pushes the boundaries of innovation, developing smart, simple project efficiency and collaboration solutions for design and construction professionals worldwide.
