The Strategic Account Executive II will drive CPI’s growth by spearheading strategic sales initiatives in the education and healthcare markets, focusing on winning new business through consultative selling and executive-level partnerships.ResponsibilitiesDrive the entire sales process – from prospecting to contract execution – to achieve and exceed CPI’s sales and revenue targetsServe as the principal representative of CPI for potential customersStrategically identify, engage, and convert new opportunities in the education or healthcare markets through targeted account-based approachesDeliver compelling, solution-oriented presentations that address customer needs and showcase CPI’s unique value propositionForge and nurture executive-level relationships, aligning CPI’s training solutions with customer business challenges for maximum impactBuild and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, leveraging CRM and sales tools for accurate activity tracking and forecastingPartner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer care, to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful solution implementationsProvide actionable insights to leadership on industry trends, competitive activity, and client feedback to support strategic planningReport on sales performance, customer engagements, and pipeline progress to leadershipRepresent CPI at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to expand market presence and build valuable connectionsStay ahead of industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements to position CPI competitivelyPerform other position-related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fieldThree or more years of successful sales experienceProven track record of success in a ‘hunter' sales role, with verifiable new business winsDemonstrated expertise in contract negotiationProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and CRM platformsAbility to travel throughout the assigned territoryMaintain a clean driving recordMeet all Vendor Credentialing requirements to ensure unrestricted access to CPI customer sites, including valid identification, background checks, drug screening, and required immunizations (such as COVID-19), as specified by each customerContinuously uphold all credentialing standards throughout employment to support essential job functionsExpertise in managing complex sales cycles and influencing executive decision-makersStrong business acumen with sound independent judgment in customer engagementAdvanced consultative selling skills to uncover needs and deliver tailored solutionsExceptional attention to detail and accountability for resultsProven ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize in a dynamic work environmentExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsHigh resilience and the ability to handle frequent rejection with a positive attitudeDemonstrated success in B2B consultative or solutions-based sales environmentsBenefitsComprehensive compensation packageComprehensive benefits package401kPTOHealth & Wellness DaysPaid Volunteer Time OffContinuing education and trainingRemote or Milwaukee HeadquartersPaid Parental LeaveCompany OverviewCrisis Prevention Institute provides training and consulting in behavior management and dementia care for human service professionals.
