[Remote] Statistical Analyst - Pricing and Analytics

Frankenmuth Insurance is seeking a Statistical Analyst to support their External Data Reporting team, focusing on ISO Commercial Lines and Personal Lines statistical reporting. This role involves preparing submissions, owning reporting issues, and collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit recurring ISO CL and PL statistical filingsReview and interpret ISO manuals, reporting instructions, and edit feedbackResearch prior submissions to ensure consistent reporting decisionsInvestigate errors, edit failures, and data anomaliesCoordinate with Product, Claims, policy systems, and data teams to resolve issuesMaintain clear documentation of assumptions, decisions, and changesOwning known ISO reporting issues from identification through resolutionWriting technical business requirements for reporting fixes or enhancementsPartnering with IT teams to translate requirements into system changesParticipating in testing, validation, and implementationIdentifying and planning for future ISO reporting changesBalancing recurring ISO deadlines with longer‑term improvement workManaging multiple priorities, sometimes with incomplete informationInterpreting guidance rather than following step‑by‑step instructionsCommunicating clearly with internal partners across teamsDocumenting work so decisions can be referenced laterResponding to ad hoc ISO or regulatory requests when they come upSkills5+ years of experience with regulatory, statistical, or bureau reportingExcel skills; moderate technical ability with room to grow (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI, SQL)Experience documenting business requirements or processesComfortable coordinating work across multiple departmentsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughWillingness to take ownership and see work throughComfort asking questions when guidance isn't clearAbility to manage competing priorities responsiblyClear, professional communicationStrong documentation habitsAbility to work legally in the United States.
