[Remote] State Filings Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Perr&Knight is an actuarial and insurance consulting firm that has been providing exemplary services for over 30 years. They are seeking a State Filings Analyst to prepare and submit insurance company filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Preparing and submitting Property and Casualty and Accident and Health Insurance company filings using SERFF and I-file to ensure timely approval of rates, rules and forms
ā¢ Utilizing statefilings.com and other software to manage assigned filing projects and tasks
ā¢ Identifying and satisfying filing requirements on a countrywide basis
ā¢ Reviewing insurance filing materials for accuracy and completeness
ā¢ Maintaining filing documentation in an organized manner
ā¢ Acting as a liaison between the Client (insurance company) and state insurance departments to communicate regarding filing status and resolving filing issues
ā¢ Ensuring all assigned filing projects are completed accurately and within set timeline
ā¢ Monitoring and summarizing circulars and bulletins issued by insurance rating bureaus
ā¢ Researching and maintaining current information on compliance and regulatory issues
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
ā¢ Strong attention to detail
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet established deadlines
ā¢ Flexibility and composure in the face of changing assignments, priorities or goals
ā¢ Proficient Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel skills
ā¢ Knowledge of the insurance industry or state regulatory filings experience is a plus
