The role of Startup Mentor involves providing strategic guidance to early-stage healthcare startups, helping founders navigate growth and operational execution.
Responsibilities
β’ Founder Mentorship: Serve as a trusted advisor to early-stage healthcare founders, offering practical guidance on company building, leadership, hiring, fundraising, and go-to-market strategy
β’ Strategic Growth Guidance: Help startups refine business models, validate product-market fit, and scale operations in complex healthcare markets
β’ Investment Insight: Provide perspective during investment evaluation on team strength, market opportunity, competitive positioning, and scalability
β’ Market & Industry Trends: Identify emerging trends in digital health, AI, value-based care, virtual care, and healthcare infrastructure to inform fund strategy
β’ Network Support: Introduce portfolio companies to potential customers, strategic partners, talent, and investors
β’ Venture Studio Collaboration: Support companies incubated through our venture studio from ideation through launch and early traction
Skills
β’ Experience as a founder, executive, or senior operator in digital health, healthcare technology, or venture-backed startups
β’ Track record of scaling companies, leading teams, or raising capital
β’ Strong understanding of startup growth dynamics and healthcare market complexity
β’ Passion for mentoring entrepreneurs and supporting early-stage innovation
β’ Interest in venture capital and long-term value creation
