[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Developer Experience

The Staff Software Engineer will lead projects and collaborate with engineering leaders to design and operate production-grade delivery infrastructure, while also contributing hands-on in Go and Python.ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve our CI/CD architecture and the developer-facing experienceDrive continuous improvements to pipeline reliability, speed, and predictabilityDefine paved paths that let product teams ship fast and safely without deep platform knowledgeOwn the delivery process end-to-end, from code merge to productionChampion progressive delivery practices: canary deployments & automated rollbacksBuild tooling that makes deployments observable, repeatable, and self-serviceOwn and evolve our Internal Developer Portal and the self-service experience around itPartner with Cloud Platform teams on infrastructure while owning the developer-facing deliveryEmbed AI tooling into delivery workflows in ways that create lasting productivity gainsSkillsStrong experience in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience roles focused on CI/CD and delivery, ideally at companies with 200+ engineersExperience owning and operating a CI/CD platform at admin and architecture level, including security, configuration, and enablementProven ability to design and operate delivery systems at scaleHands-on software development experience including production-quality GoPassion for progressive delivery practices: canary deployments & automated rollbacksFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platformsPassion for using AI to improve engineering velocity, quality, and developer experienceStrong collaboration skills and ability to influence across teamsBuilt and/or maintained an IDP in productionPrevious experience working in both Software and Platform Engineering teamsInterest in Security and an understanding of RBAC and OAuthBenefitsYou may also be offered equity, and a generous benefits program.Company OverviewAlphaSense is a platform harnessing AI to deliver insights, helping professionals make informed, impactful decisions.
