[Remote] Staff Product Designer

The Staff Product Designer will lead design processes for major product features, creating intuitive and accessible experiences across various platforms while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design processes for major product features across web, mobile, and tablet experiencesDesign interfaces for emerging hardware platforms and work closely with hardware teams to create cohesive hardware-software experiencesCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that balance user needs with business goalsCreate high-fidelity designs and prototypes that work seamlessly across different platforms and screen sizesExplore and define new interaction paradigms for novel hardware interfaces and form factorsConduct and synthesize user research including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisionsMaintain design standards and actively contribute to our design systems to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpointsPresent design concepts and rationale to leadership and cross-functional teams with confidence and clarityPartner with engineering and QA teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficientlyAdvocate for user-centered design principles and best practicesContribute to strategic product planning by providing design perspective on roadmap priorities and new opportunitiesSkills8-12 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing work across multiple platformsExperience designing at the intersection of hardware and software with understanding of how physical constraints and capabilities influence the user experienceProven experience designing for both consumer and business users with an understanding of different user contexts and needsExpert proficiency in design tools such as Figma and ProtoPieExperience building, contributing to, and maintaining design systems that scale across multiple products and platformsUnderstanding of hardware-software integration and experience creating interfaces that feel native to their physical environmentExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of technical constraints and opportunities when designing for different platforms and devicesPortfolio demonstrating the ability to balance user needs with business requirementsExperience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesBackground working at growth-stage companies or similar fast-paced environmentsDemonstrated experience utilizing AI tools in both professional and personal contexts.
