Remote Staff Accountant
A rapidly growing Private Equity-backed company with over $200M in revenue is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate finance team. With a national footprint built through strategic acquisitions, the company offers a high-growth environment, modern tools, and a team-first culture.
This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, who is based in the Northeast. The company offers a flexible, results-driven work environment.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist with month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial schedules
ā¢ Reconcile weekly bank activity and support proper coding of transactions
ā¢ Maintain fixed asset records and track capital expenditures
ā¢ Support payroll entries, accruals, and reconciliation efforts
ā¢ Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal control documentation
ā¢ Generate financial reports and support ad hoc analysis
What Were Looking For:
ā¢ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ā¢ 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency
ā¢ Self-motivated with a desire to grow within a fast-paced team
ā¢ Experience in public accounting, service-based businesses, or inventory accounting is a plus
ā¢ CPA or CPA track preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
ā¢ Base salary in the $65K-$75K range
