[Remote] Staff Accountant

Crash Champions is one of the fastest-growing brands in the collision repair industry, operating over 650 locations across the U.S. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage the general ledger, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and audit processes. Responsibilities Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with senior accountants, managers, and other department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures Coordinate and support internal and external audits Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices Streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Provide meaningful variance analysis and insights to senior management Skills Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance Previous experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate accounting Strong communicator, capable of working with peers and senior management Strong analytical thinker Independent, self-starter that works well in team environment Capable of quickly adapting to change Proficiency in MS Office products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel Strong attention to detail Deep understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties Ability to work cross functionally and act as a liaison with all levels or organization and external business partnerships Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Group Life Insurance Disability Insurance 401k Retirement Plan with match Referral Bonus (“Cash From Crash”) 5 Paid Holidays Company Overview Crash Champions is a provider of automotive collision repair services.
