[Remote] Sr Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in driving EMR Integration and Interoperability initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of technical solutions to improve workflows for transplant centers and clinical teams.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery of technical integrations and support post-go-live stabilizationManage crossâteam communication to ensure alignment on timelines, dependencies, testing expectations, and rollout stepsMaintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status updates, SOPs, and client-facing deliverablesPartner with internal engineering and interoperability teams and external client teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues using tools such as Redox, Mirth, Epic and SalesforceAnalyze discrepancies (e.g., mismatched IDs, outdated packages, recordâlevel inconsistencies) and guide teams toward accurate resolutionProactively identify risks and bring forward recommendations and solution options when issues ariseDevelop and maintain deep understanding of EMR integrations, clinical workflows, and lab ordering/result processesGuide clients and internal stakeholders on best practices for configuration, workflow design, and system behaviorIdentify opportunities to standardize builds, reduce variability, and improve scalability across implementationsAct as the primary client liaison during implementation, building strong relationships with clinical and technical stakeholders while facilitating workflow, integration, and technical discussionsCommunicate status, risks, and decisions clearly, translating complex concepts into actionable insights and providing visibility into release scope, changes, and timelinesSupport clients and internal stakeholders by providing visibility into whatâs included in releases, whatâs changing, and when updates will be availableOversee integration testing efforts, ensuring environments are properly configuredEnsure teams understand what features, changes, or fixes are included in each build so QA/test activities start with the right expectationsIdentify gaps in process visibility (e.g., unclear version control, missing installation steps, outdated packages) and push for improvementsValidate that environments are prepared for testing and that issues discovered in QA are documented and communicated appropriatelySkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, technology, or related field5+ years of experience in technical project management, EMR integration, or healthcare technologyExperience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex technical issuesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNowExposure to APIs, clinical data feeds (i.e. HL7), or interface enginesHigh preference for candidates living in Central or Pacific TimezoneBenefitsCompetitive base salary and incentive compensationHealth and welfare benefits, including a gym reimbursement program401(k) savings plan matchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPre-tax commuter benefitsLiving Donor Employee Recovery Policy that allows up to 30 days of paid leave annually to a full-time employee who makes the selfless act of donating an organ or bone marrowCompany OverviewCareDx, Inc., headquartered in South San Francisco, is a precision medicine company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of clinically differentiated, high-value healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers.
