[Remote] Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

They are seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of Raptive's applications and infrastructure while collaborating with various teams to enhance the deployment pipeline and incident response.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ongoing reliability and robustness of Raptive’s production applications and infrastructure by monitoring availability, capacity, and throughput for a full-stack delivery teamEvolve systems by adding reliability and performance into our applications, infrastructure and roadmapCoordinate to re-prioritize or fix critical bugs for support or sales requirements as neededCore infrastructure tools and frameworks ( Configuration Management, IAM, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring, HA, kubernetes, Helm, Flux, etc )Constantly monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and remedy them by working with the security teamCraft and implement processes to reduce friction and enable all team members to spend their time on what they do bestThink creatively, work collaboratively, and do whatever it takes to get the job doneSkillsTypically, 3+ years of experience working on Site Reliability Engineering or DevOpsMust have extensive knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, AWSMust have experience in Python or Typescript development as a software engineer/site reliability engineerExperience with Linux operating systems internals and administrationAbility to communicate effectively vertically and horizontally within the organization via demonstrated written and verbal communication skillsExperience running Infrastructure at scale; utilizing Configuration Management and automation to ensure idempotency, ephemerality, and reliabilityDemonstrated initiative, autonomy, ability to operate amidst uncertainty, ability to create and document new patterns where none existExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticsearchWorking with SaaS products at scaleConfiguration management such as Ansible or ChefNetworking experience (VPC, VPN)BenefitsThis role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.Company OverviewRaptive turns innovators create long-lasting businesses and worldwide brands.
