Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Veritis Group Inc is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and deliver production-grade full-stack Python applications. The role involves owning the full lifecycle of applications, including architecture, implementation, CI/CD, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Own the full lifecycle of the application ā from architecture and implementation to CI/CD and monitoring
ā¢ In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch
ā¢ Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills
ā¢ Strong unit test and debugging skills
ā¢ Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
ā¢ Experience with CI/CD tools like Github, Gitactions, Jenkins, octopus or similar
ā¢ 3+ years of experience working on Azure or GCP Cloud Applications/services (GCP preferred)
Skills
ā¢ 8+ years' experience designing and delivering production-grade full-stack python applications
ā¢ 5+ years' experience programming in Python
ā¢ 3+ years' experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
ā¢ 3+ years' experience with containerized development using Docker and deploying through CI/CD pipelines (GCP DevOps/GitHub)
