The role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of services to customers, maintaining project documentation, and directing team activities to ensure successful project completion.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the identified standard, formal project documentation and prepare executive overviews as necessaryResponsible for managing all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of services to the Customer as defined by the program structureDirect the completion of activities such as architecture design, engineering, change control, and operations acceptance to ensure complete success in delivering service to the CustomerEnsure on-time delivery of all the needed documentation, building close relationships with other teams on the project and programDevelop and maintain the project plan; migration plans; all associated documentation; and the risks, issues, and actions logCommunicate issues and actions to the wider teamProvide day-to-day direction of the Security and Network Teamsβ activities in accordance with the agreed project planProvide a forum to discuss complex scopes, issues, and analysis; take meeting minutes and discussions (recording the actions and outcomes); and communicate them to the appropriate audienceDemonstrate extensive, proven delivery in global deployment of network and/or security-related projectsSkillsHave 25+ years of experience in the information technology (IT) industryHave 15+ years of experience as a project manager and/or a service managerHave 3+ years of experience as a program managerHave a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degreePossess program management experience, along with a history of managing a few large transformation programs delivering multiple streams with project manager direct reports, providing executive dashboards and reporting using automation and efficient approachesPossess excellent Customer interfacing skills and first-rate interpersonal skills required to work with other departments and/or subsidiaries and the Customer to develop timelines for project deliverablesBe able to consistently demonstrate a level-headed approach, calmness, and a 'can-do' attitudePossess creative problem-solving skills and the ability to offer alternatives that are Customer-focused, strategic, and profitable for AT&TPossess a formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 certification)Be fluent in spoken and written English and maintain business-level written and spoken language fluency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, PortugueseBe proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPointBe able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision in a non-structured environmentTake a leadership role and have experience in managing resources across multiple time zonesPossess excellent communication skills, both written and verbalWork under extremely challenging timeframes and pressure to meet Customer deadlinesBe a self-starter, demonstrate the ability to work both in a team environment and in a standalone role, and work independently with minimal supervisionHave the confidence to address senior management and notify them of outages in critical situationsBe experienced in working within a change control-oriented environmentHave solid knowledge of testing strategies and defining acceptance criteriaHave experience in managing large teams of technical and non-technical consultantsBe able to deliver across multiple verticals and technology vendor solutionsHave an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation v3 certificationPossess experience in working on a global security deploymentUnderstand security terminologies, frameworks, and processesMust have successfully delivered multiple, large Unified Communications platforms, managed services, and/or mobility solutionsHave experience in service management deliveryCompany OverviewWe provide our valued clients with fast, cost-effective access to high-quality resources.
