Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Enterprise IT Strategy & Planning department. The role involves facilitating successful project delivery, managing project teams, and supporting the implementation of the RUSH ERP solution while ensuring operational efficiencies and providing solutions to business challenges.ResponsibilitiesEffectively manages multiple OCM activities simultaneously leveraging high-complexity, transformational, and RUSH wide changeDirects and manages project development and progress from beginning to endGuides teams as they work with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of successEstablishes project governance with key leaders and stakeholders and facilitate governance activities to ensure leadership effectively clears roadblocks and promotes the success of the projectActs as liaison between the Organization Change Management leadership, project teams, and multiple organizational structuresDrafts and submits budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changesPlans, estimates, and control project costs, including resource planning, to ensure project is delivered on time and within budgetBuilds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the projectEstimates and identifies the resources and participants needed to achieve project goalsNegotiates with contractors and internal department managers for the acquisition of required personnelDevelops scaled project plans and associated communications documents using standard toolsIdentifies and manages project resource needs and goals - strategies, staffing, scheduling, issue resolution, contingency plans, communication plans, and change controlFacilitate or participates in routine project team meetings to establish and continually manage project requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholdersCoaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned workProvides project management coaching and mentoring to others in the organizationDetermines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results and troubleshoots problem areasCollaborates and coordinates efforts with those of the organizational performance improvementIdentifies and manages project dependencies and critical pathIdentifies and resolves issues/conflicts and/or escalates where appropriate for resolutionProactively manages potential scope and schedule changes.
