The role involves serving as a liaison between product lines and EPC customers, managing the execution of major EPC project orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience through effective project management.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager will be heavily involved working directly with EPC customers, their end clients, site contractors, Eaton Sales, Eaton Services, and other project stakeholders, to manage fulfilment of equipment and services for all products offered by Eaton to the markets servedThe Senior Project Manager will engage in technical, commercial and logistical (electrical/mechanical) details of major strategic industrial, utility and commercial project ordersThe Senior Project Manager will effectively engage with and coordinate internal resources to enable the implementation of the Eaton Business System with Eaton’s equipment manufacturing factories and field services organizationsThe Senior Project Manager will work to improve performance on logistics and financial management for Eaton and the customerThe Senior Project Manager will mitigate, track, and communicate financial and schedule risks to internal stakeholdersThe Senior Project Manager will manage and report financial metricsThe Senior Project Manager will seek to collect and communicate lessons learned on the individual customer projects for communication to other project teams engaged with Eaton products, both with the PMO and the Sales TeamsThe Senior Project Manager will seek out and communicate to sales potential opportunities for increasing product utilization within a customer’s electrical system design through a recognition of available Eaton products. The goal is to create value in the project management process and demonstrate Eaton’s project execution as a key differentiator to separate us from our competitorsThe Senior Project Manager will:Act as a subject matter expert and provide support to less experienced team membersParticipate in activities such as digital systems power user support roles (internal systems such as project management software, order ERP systems, customer portals and site management software, etc.)Participate in and support training of other PMO team members on key initiatives and systems/process advancement initiativesSupport tangential organization members such as PEs and PCs and FSEs, providing supplementary coaching and development to aid in their growth and advancement within the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 7 years of electrical industry experienceMinimum 7 years project management experiencePossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
