[Remote] Sr. Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Switchfast Technologies, acquired by Ascend Technologies, is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to oversee and guide project teams through the entire project lifecycle. The role involves managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to organizational best practices and facilitating communication among stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesOwn overall schedule, budget, and deliverables for assigned project(s)Use waterfall and/or agile methodologies and practices to plan, manage and deliver technology solutions, as defined by the project scope/SOWSchedule and facilitate project events and ceremoniesCreate strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planningPlan and organize project deliverables, goals and milestonesLiaison with stakeholders such as clients, end users, vendors and project personnel regarding defining and documenting project requirements and processesMonitor and report project progress, issues and risk to internal and external executive sponsors and stakeholdersAssist in owning and executing change management processesGuide project teams through go-live and warranty phasesProvide ongoing and post-project evaluations/retrospectivesEnsure knowledge transfer or project to appropriate support teamsPartner with various IT management teams to ensure appropriate prioritization and resource allocation of projectsOwn prioritization processes for assigned projects against overall enterprise backlog to ensure teams are focused on highest value workTrain, mentor and support other project managers and project teams to follow PMO best practicesSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required, degree in Information Technology, Communications or related field preferred4+ years of experience managing IT projects using Waterfall, Agile and/or hybrid methodologiesProven expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or Lean) and familiarity with traditional project management practices (Waterfall, PMBOK)Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
