[Remote] Sr. Product Marketing Manager

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing will own positioning, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement across a global suite of environmental monitoring products and solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks across AEM's product portfolio, translating technical capabilities into buyer-relevant value propositionsEnsure positioning holds up in competitive sales cycles and reflects how buyers actually make decisionsOwn competitive intelligence as an ongoing discipline, not a one-time projectMonitor competitor positioning, product developments, and go-to-market moves across the environmental monitoring industrySynthesize findings into usable briefs and enable sales with current, credible differentiationBuild and maintain the sales enablement library: battle cards, one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and objection-handling guidesEnsure field teams have current, on-message materials that reflect actual product positioning and competitive realityWork closely with sales leadership to understand where the gaps are and close themPlan and execute product and feature launches end to end, from internal readiness through external announcementCoordinate across Product, Sales and Marketing to land launches with impactTrain and prepare sales and support teams ahead of new product introductionsContribute to AEM's thought leadership presence through bylines, speaking abstracts, white papers, and campaign messagingHelp define the narrative that differentiates AEM in a competitive marketProvide messaging and copy support across web, campaigns, press releases, and partner communicationsServe as a positioning and content resource for the broader marketing teamSkillsBachelor's degree requiredMBA or equivalent experience a plus8 or more years of total experience, with at least 4 years in B2B product marketing, preferably at a company selling data, software, or technology productsExperience in the environmental monitoring, weather, geospatial, or adjacent data or technology sector is strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to develop positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and value propositions that hold up in competitive sales cyclesStrong analytical skills. Comfortable working with market data, win/loss analysis, and usage metrics to drive decisionsProven track record of producing sales enablement materials that field teams actually useSkilled communicator across formats: executive presentations, customer-facing copy, internal briefs, and long-form thought leadershipPractical, active fluency with AI tools applied to research, content development, competitive analysis, and workflow automation.
