[Remote] Sr. Product Manager (Power)

Amphenol Network Solutions is seeking a Senior Power Product Manager to oversee the growth, innovation, and profitability of their Power portfolio. This role involves collaborating with sales and customers to develop new product ideas and requires a strong technical foundation, entrepreneurial mindset, and creativity in problem-solving.ResponsibilitiesLeverages technical knowledge to guide product development and ensure alignment with industry standards and innovationsDemonstrates entrepreneurial thinking by identifying market gaps and initiating new product lines or business modelsFosters a culture of creativity within the team to encourage innovative solutions and unique product featuresBuilds and scales business initiatives by aligning cross-functional teams and resources to strategic goalsApply financial acumen to assess product line performance, manage budgets, and optimize return on investmentProvides leadership and oversees product line and product family strategies, including growth, product rationalizations and consolidation effortsAble to mentor other Product Managers in the critical aspects of Product ManagementEnsures we are driving a clear and compelling value proposition for each product within their portfolio as well as employing proactive go-to-market practicesAble to evaluate business cases for new opportunities, provide mentorship throughout the opportunity approval cycle, and initiate development or engineering projects through justifiable business cases that support the corporate and product line strategiesManages and communicates the 'cradle-to-grave' product lifecycle processOversees pricing strategies and approvals while optimizing margins and ROI for each product lineProvides leadership and guidance to product planning, including S&OP, demand planning, inventory, E&O, and lead timesDrives product manufacturing strategies in collaboration with OperationsMonitors and understands major market changes, competitors and technology trends and can adjust strategies in responseSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferredFive to ten years of leadership experienceFive years of Product Management experience is preferredFive to ten years - exposure to, or experience in, the IT/Datacomm industry is preferredSoft skills a must - must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills with ability to relate at all levelsStrong analytical skillsAble to communicate and work effectively with the management teamMust always be able to communicate in a professional mannerMust be proficient in the use of MS Office 365, including Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and OutlookThis employee must be able to lift 25 pounds and move 75 poundsMust be able to sit, stand, and typeMust be willing to travel 25% of the timeAn MBA would be idealFive years of Product Management experience is preferredFive to ten years - exposure to, or experience in, the IT/Datacomm industry is preferredSalesforce, Tableau, and Teamwork experience is beneficialCompany OverviewAmphenol Network Solutions is design,manufacture and distribute products for customers who need solution for network connectivity.
