They are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the Admin and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) domain within Certent Equity Management, responsible for defining product strategy and driving execution for critical domains.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product roadmap for Admin and ESPP functional areas, balancing customer needs, competitive positioning, regulatory requirements, and platform scalabilityDefine multi-quarter feature priorities based on revenue impact, customer retention risk, broker partnership requirements, and technical dependenciesConduct competitive analysis of Admin and ESPP capabilitiesPartner with Sales, Customer Success, and broker partners to identify feature gaps that block deals or create churn riskWrite comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with detailed functional specifications, user workflows, edge cases, and acceptance criteriaConduct technical detail review sessions with engineering teams before development begins to ensure alignment of requirements and implementation risksDefine data models, calculation logic, and system integrations with precision appropriate for financial compliance softwareDocument ESPP tax treatment rules (Section 423 compliance, qualifying vs. disqualifying dispositions, lookback provisions, AMT implications) with accuracy sufficient for engineering implementationServe as the subject matter expert on ESPP plan design including offering periods, purchase periods, contribution limits, lookback provisions, and withdrawal rulesDesign calculation engines for ESPP purchase price determination, share allocations, and tax withholding across federal and state jurisdictionsDesign audit logging, data export, and reporting capabilities that meet SOX and SOC 1 and 2 control requirementsPartner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure admin features meet regulatory and customer security requirementsPartner with Financial Reporting, Broker Connectivity, and Admin Reporting product owners to ensure cohesive user experiencesCollaborate with Professional Services on customer implementations, identifying product gaps that create services dependencyWork with Product Marketing on product positioning, feature launches, and sales enablement materialsCoordinate with Compliance and Legal teams on regulatory changes affecting ESPP administrationLead customer discovery sessions to understand pain points, workflows, and feature requirementsConduct demos and training for customers, broker partners, and internal teamsSupport Sales in competitive evaluations, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept engagementsGather feedback from Customer Success on product gaps driving support volume or churn riskParticipate in UBS, Bank of America, and other broker partner business reviewsSkills5+ years in product management roles, preferably in B2B SaaS environments3+ years of experience in the Equity Management spaceProven track record of delivering complex SaaS features, enhancements, or modules from concept to launchProven experience in developing and managing software products, preferably in the equity management sectorExceptional communication and collaboration abilities with the aptitude for influencing and building consensus among stakeholdersStrong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skillsDeep understanding of equity compensation principles including stock options, RSUs, ESPP, performance awards, and international equity programsDeep understanding of ESPP plan mechanics including Section 423 qualified plans, offering/purchase periods, lookback provisions, and contribution limitsWorking knowledge of equity compensation taxation (ISO, NSO, RSU, ESPP) and IRS reporting requirements (Form 3922, W-2 reporting)Understanding of Section 16 compliance, Rule 10b5-1 plans, and other public company securities regulationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field requiredCEP (Certified Equity Professional) Level 1 certification or higherMBA or similar advanced degree is preferredExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworksExperience with platform migrations, system implementations, or large-scale transformation projectsBenefitsFor non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus.For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.Background checks are required for employment with insightsoftware, where permitted by country, state/province.Company Overviewinsightsoftware is the most comprehensive provider of solutions for the Office of the CFO.
